In 2008 having worked in the broadcast industry for many years, Ian Bowker, the company Founder and Principal, decided it was time to create a small, nimble company based in New England that could not only provide project management and consulting, but also have the ability to provide technical engineering and design, with the ability to perform physical integration.

Icon Broadcast opened its doors early in 2009.  Starting its first contract the integration of a 53’ production unit for Game Creek Video came soon after.

From there, the company never looked back and has worked on some very large and diverse projects with companies such as WNET in New York  and WWE .

 In 2012 Icon started working with Accelerated Media Technologies, integrating systems into News vehicles.  Seamlessly interfacing with AMT staff to provide “on-demand” integration bandwidth as needed.

As the company grows we continue to work on doing what we know best, providing tailored solutions to meet our customer's needs.
